Solids, Liquids, and Gases: A School Assembly Program Presenter's Guide
Author Jacqueline Barber in association with GEMS (Great Exploration in Math and Science) had the text published in 1986. In this program, the audience attempts to predict the results of a number of experiments, sometimes with surprising or unexpected results: a flask glows with violet gas, parsley shatters when it is crushed, a red liquid turns into strawberry-scented gas.
