Hot Water and Warm Homes from Sunlight
Author Alan Gould in association with GEMS (Great Explorations in Math and Science) had the text published in 1986. In these activities, your students conduct simple experiments to find out how sunlight can best be used to heat houses and water. Your students build small model houses out of paper to find out how covered and uncovered windows affect passive solar heating of the house.
