Mapping Animal Movement
Author Katharine Barrett in association with GEMS (Great Adventures in Math and Science) had the text published in 1987. This teacher's guide will enable you to introduce your students to field biology techniques by using a sampling and mapping system to quantify and compare the movements of hamsters and crickets in the classroom. The students will also graph the results of their experiments, draw conclusions, and compare their findings with other student teams.
